About this piece
From the first Memphis collection of 1981, the Beverly is a sideboard treated like architecture: a stack of volumes in laminate and wood, with a bare bulb at its top as if it were a building lit at night. Like many Memphis pieces, it takes the name of a grand hotel.
Ettore Sottsass, 1981. Sideboard in wood covered with decorative laminate and natural wood essence. Made by Memphis Milano.
