(Dedicated to Joe DiMaggio) / steel frame, preformed polyurethane foam padding. Leather upholstery, hidden swivel mechanism.

An armchair designed in the form of a giant baseball glove mounted on invisible wheels. Designers De Pas, D'Urbino & Lomazzi wanted to express their admiration for one of the most mythified characters in American baseball Joe Di Maggio. Clearly, the chair also rises to the level of that other clearly American invention pop art! (Claes Olderburg comes to mind). Nonetheless, it is a surprisingly comfortable, ergonomic chair.
