Harry Bertoia, the sculptor who taught at Cranbrook alongside Charles Eames, designed his wire chairs in 1952, turning welded steel rod into something close to sculpture. This is the side chair, with a removable cushion.
Made to order in the Urban Architecture Masterworks Collection. Chromed or lacquered steel wire, removable cushion in fabric or leather.
