About this piece
Named, like many Memphis pieces, after a grand hotel (the Suvretta House in St. Moritz), this bookcase from the first 1981 collection turns a set of shelves into a patterned, graphic object, the laminate doing the work that ornament once did.
Ettore Sottsass, 1981. Wooden bookcase covered in decorative laminate. Made by Memphis Milano.
