About this piece
In 1925, at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Marcel Breuer built the first armchair of bent tubular steel, reputedly inspired by the handlebars of his bicycle. It later took the name of Wassily Kandinsky, his colleague at the school.
Made to order in the Urban Architecture Masterworks Collection. Chrome-plated tubular steel, seat, back and arms in hide or pony skin.
