About this piece
Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed this chair in 1904 for the manager of Miss Cranston's Willow Tea Rooms in Glasgow. Its curved lattice back, a stylised willow tree, divided the room in two.
Made to order in the Urban Architecture Masterworks Collection. Black lacquered ash, upholstered seat in fabric, leather or full-grain leather.
