About this piece
Kuramata joined Memphis in its first year, and the Imperial shows his quieter side: a tall, narrow secretaire in solid lacquered wood, left open-pored so the grain shows through the colour.
Shiro Kuramata, 1981. Secretaire in solid wood, lacquered with open pore. Available in black, silver or plum. Made by Memphis Milano.
