Franz West (Austria) 1947-2012. Welded iron chain suspension lamp / blackish-gray patina.
Franz West in a way reinterpreted Privat Lampe Des Kunstlers II by inverting it, and floating the chains horizontally, in the form of this extraordinarily raw "chandelier". It is alive, sculptural, animated with existential presence. A floating work of art (that works!).
