Ultrafragola translates to "The Ultimate Strawberry", a reference to the women who would view themselves within it. Show-stopper with its sensual wavy form!) Both in its name and in its sinuous shape, this evocative and erotic 'vanities' is an homage to women's sensuality by Ettore Sottsass. 

It was realized in materials that were unashamedly new: wavy vacuum-formed acrylic sheet and colored neon light opposed to the more traditional mirror made from gilded, carved wood. For Sottsass, "Life is perceived by the senses before the intellect and sexuality belongs to that sensorial vocabulary".

Each mirror is hand-assembled in Italy upon order as a continuing production with all original materials. There exists 8-10 week production period + 3-4 weeks shipping.

A Note About Shipping

"Urban Architecture Inc. is the ONLY USA Official Dealer/Distributor, and we are NYC-based, with a true “brick & mortar” location (we are not just an internet “gallery” working out of an obscure location).

We offer a 1-year warranty on this mirror that covers workmanship & the replacement of moveable parts (interior light sources, transformers, exterior floor switches, etc) at our cost & expense. This is because we maintain an inventory onsite at our Brooklyn warehouse of all such pertinent parts & materials. No European “dealer” can possibly offer such services as they are not US-based.

Lastly, if the ULTRAFRAGOLA mirror arrives from Italy either cracked, damaged or non-functional for whatever reason, we replace it in advance of your delivery with no question. That is why all mirrors are first delivered to our facilities before we ship on to you — in that way, we have the opportunity to open the traveling crate, inspect & test the product, illuminate it & then photo-document it for your protection.
