About this piece
Eileen Gray designed this adjustable table for the guest room of E-1027, the house on the coast at Roquebrune she built with Jean Badovici in 1926–29. The stem slides to set the height, and the C-shaped base slips beneath a bed or sofa.
Made to order in the Urban Architecture Masterworks Collection. Chrome-plated tubular steel, black top.
